It’s Sky Sunday at AFC (Artistic Freedom Crew). click link to see more
Here is a sample of what you will find there.
This Winter Rainbow was taken after a sudden thunderstorm in mid November. It was an oddly warm day for early winter in the mid atlantic. It was a balmy 75 degrees (24C) and in 30 minutes a cold wind and the dark clouds of a fast moving cold front ignited a thunderstorm and a temp drop of 20 degrees. The sun came back out although the wind cranked up pushing the wall of dark clouds east. This is off my deck which faces east. Where this Rainbow met the horizon from my deck is perfect… just below out of camera shot is a bank…. ok enough of a cold rainbow…. how about a warm winter image… like the one below
This image is from Sunny Florida from AFC crewmate Maureen Emig click her name to see more of her work at the AFC gallery. Here she shows us a beautiful blue sky with clouds of differing kinds, and that palm tree looking like a firework of foliage.. so warm and inviting you can almost feel the light breeze.
If you’re wondering if the Sky Queen (AC Khoo) posted a 2016 parting view from her very own Magic Window ? …Why of course she did… just click the link for look see.
